Cherie Collins, President and CEO
Cherie is an Internet marketing pioneer who started her first Internet based business in 1996. Web Vacations.net was a directory of vacation rentals that represented more than 80,000 rentals at the time of its 1998 merger with BetterWorldClub.com. In 2000, Cherie joined the team of WebAccommodate where she built an online electronic distribution service for vacation rentals.

In 2003, Cherie was asked to join the team at YellowPages.com and build Yellow Pages Travel. Within a year, Yellow Pages Travel sold to SBC-Bell South for $13 Million. In 2005, Cherie partnered with the Yellow Pages Travel team to build the listing service AlwaysOnVacation.com, which now has more than 100,000 listings.

In January of 2007, Cherie left AlwaysOnVacation.com to start HomeSpun Websites. Cherie has a BA in Communication from Santa Clara University and worked as a journalist for several years before starting a career in the Internet. PDF Photo


Jeff Bailey, Chief Technology Officer
Jeff is a rare type of developer who is both a highly creative graphic designer and analytical database architect and programmer. His resume website at jreyven.com speaks for the creativity of his graphic design work. In 2002, he won the Nevada Governor’s award in design for Museum displays designed while working as the lead advertising designer at Lexicon Visual Marketing.

Jeff specializes in interactive dynamic web development and ecommerce using PHP, ASP, hand-code XHTML, Javascript and MySQL databases. He is an authority in the use of Adobe Creative Suite, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign on both Windows and Macintosh OS. And he is an expert in all phases of design, from marketing research to final output for press and web.


Gina Cavellini, Chief Web Salon Manager
Gina Cavellini has worked as a project manager and office manager for HomeSpun Websites since May of 2008. She brings fabulous creativity and project management skills.

Building her first website in 1997 and continuing just as a hobby, she is able to create beautiful websites in the HomeSpun Web Builder without having to know a shred of HTML. How does she do that? Gina loves art and music and curates our monthly 3rd Thursday Art & Business Networking Events. She is the go to girl of the office and wears all of the hats. If you need something done, she makes sure it does.

Gina has a Master Degree in Counseling Psychology and graduated from Portland State.


Shad Downey, Lead Developer
Shad is a brilliant creative problem solver, who brings to each project excellent attention to detail and forward thinking. He excels in server management, php, javascript, ajax and MySQL database design.

Shad has a BA for Portland State University. When he’s not coding, you can find him pedaling across Portland and the back roads of Oregon.



Magdalena Cisneros, Graphic Designer
Magdalena has 15 years experience in graphic design, advertising and marketing.
She studied interior design and fine arts. In her work she takes inspiration from artists like Antonio Gaudi, Jackson Pollock and M.C.Escher.
Magdalena has a Bachelor of Visual Arts with concentration in Graphic Design gained in Poland where she is originally from.



Cyndee Mady, Copy Writer
Cyndee has a Master of Fine Arts degree in creative writing from Goddard College and graduated cum laude from Portland State University. She held various editing positions for the Literary Journal, Pitkin Review, including associate and copy editor, and has published two short stories. Cyndee is the Founder and Director of Clockhouse West Writer’s Conference, which meets annually in Port Townsend, Washington. In her spare time, she is marketing her screenplay entitled, Single Bell.
